Batiste - Powder Dry Shampoo: Bare

Batiste makes the most effective dry shampoo I’ve found yet, but I have been searching for something non aerosol (for travel, the planet, and my lungs). Every time I tried a non aerosol dry shampoo, I wished that Batiste would make one because it was never as good. I bought this the second I saw the ad. I was a little worried this one would let me down too, but it truly is just Batiste without the aerosol! I don’t know what magic they’re including in their formula, but I hope they keep it coming. Make this in every scent, please!!

It is easy to use, and a little goes a long way! The white powder disappears even in my very dark brown hair and smells nice and fresh!

Aerosol dry shampoos never work for me so I was excited to try this! It’s better than I hoped, my hair feels clean afterwards and I love the Bare scent. There’s no residue left on my hair which is amazing!

This review comes from someone who has been using Batiste dry shampoo religiously for 5+ years. I liked the idea of a non-aerosol version of dry shampoo but this product needs repriced. I’m not sure why this tiny bottle is the same price as a large can of spray. I realize the spray has less actual powder and the weight is including alcohols etc to make it spray, but it still feels crazy to pay that much for so little. Not to mention the non-aerosol is much harder to control the amount used and I often end up with more wasted product on my shirt and counter than I have with aerosol. It also does not seem to work quite as well as aerosol. I imagine the packaging process to be simpler for a non-aerosol product as well, leading me to believe that the price point for this product is a total money grab. I might purchase this again if it were much cheaper.

Works so well! My hair looked actually clean after using it. Great alternative to aerosol dry shampoo. However it is very expensive for a tiny bottle.
